The Steps:-

1. Skim and scan the related journals and articles which in area of interests.
2. Remember OTMF template? Go, write and put in your OTMF table.
3. Then you will come into the sense toward IDEA-CONCEPT-UNDERSTANDING

The IDEA

Here you may get some points "the whole picture"

• why this and this are needed in your study.
• how this and this can be applied in area of interest.

..and also remember 5W 1H Questions!

..and also remember just focus on your main idea!

The CONCEPT

From the main idea you found, you will find the concept / theory in your study.

Here, you will find a many of theory in your area of interest, so the good here is, you must select the most suitable concept / theory for your study.

Either 1 or more theory, then just focus on these theory in your study.

The UNDERSTANDING 

Now you have understand the main idea and concept, then you have a knowledge about your study to be applied in the thesis- background of the study, terminology, operational definition, variables, methods and analyses and also "What else to be done".
